Explain the different sections of the year book. Sports, clubs, activities, individual pictures, teachers, grades, etc. Have the students make their own yearbook by folding a piece of paper 4 times into a book. Have the student design a cover and draw their favorite sport, self portrait, and favorie activity.

Shelter

Talk about basic shelters, their construction, use and design. Then allow the students to get into teams and see who can make the most hospitabe shelter using the provided materials. Another variation, is to have them leave the classroom and find their own "building materials". Give them a set amount of time to gather the materials and construct the shelter. The best one wins.

- When they first came out, they were very expensive. The prices have dropped a lot now that they are not such a demand.

- Compare the price in the US to Thailand. (The phone is more expensive in Thailand, but the connection is more expensive in the States. In America you must pay for all calls received and sent.)

- Special promotions (Free minutes and discounts.)

2. Convienence

- Many teenagers have cell phones for fashion and business people have them for convienence if you are late for work.

Have the students play a game placing fruits in the kitchen ware. Example: Place the apple in the bowl. Divide the class into teams and the person who follows the instructions correctly receives points for their team.

Discuss the three things that plants need to survive: soil, food, and sunlight.

Talk about plants that help us:

- Aloe plants help heal cuts, bug bites, etc.
\
- Suck on cactus if you have a sore throat. Thai people mix up the cactus and milk and give it to the children to wean them off the milk.
