Talk your way through the calendar-tell about the American holidays that occur each month and ask about the Thai holidays-Talk about the pictures in the calendar(if you have a picture calendar) Talk about how many days are in each month-ask each student what month there birthday is in?. Tell the different types of calendar.

Round objects

To show the students things that are round

Bring in as many round things as you can ( glasses, coke cans, rings, balls, bowls, cups, tire, trash can, toilet paper, childrens toys, draw things on the board that you can't bring in!!! Discuss the objects and then play "What's missing" ( lay out all the round objects on the table and then cover with a blanket and take one away the students then draw the object on a piece of paper)

Talk about guest list- how names have to be written on the various envelopes- pricing of invitations- Choosing an invitation- R.S.V.P.- How many invitations- formal and informal invitations-when to send them out- If you receive an invitation you need to atleast send a gift!!!! (even if you can't attend)

Alarm Clocks

Alarm clock not working, being late, what color is yours, what shape, what sound does it make, How long does it take you to wake up? How long does it take you to get ready? Does everyone need an alarm clock?(Peru/Africa). Using 2 clocks to wake you.

Talk about the different parts of the camera: different lenses, steap, shutter speed, apperture, light meter, trigger, timer, tripod holder, filters, etc.

Care for your camera: don't touch the lense, keep dirt out

Different things you can do with your camera: hold shutter open, increase/decrease depth of field, over/under exposure, etc.

Have the kids draw a picture of what they would like to take a picture of.

How does your fridge look? One door or two? Ice dispenser? Name brand? What color? Do you clean yours out regularly or is there mold and things from 3 years ago? Divide students in half and have them draw as many things as they can that they would find in the fridge. Discuss these items .

2. Different kinds of flowers: roses, carnation, daisy, tulip, lily, hibiscus

3. Discuss appropriate arrangements of flowers for the occasion: corsage: prom, wedding; bouquet: date, gift
\
4. Cost of flowers at the flower shop.
\
5. Ask the students their favorite type and color of flower and the kind of flower they like to receive/give.
\
6. Make a flower arrangement for the class to see.
