The Tailless Fox

Posted by admin

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful fox that lived in a forest. The fox had a beautiful fluffy tail. There is a song about the fox that goes like this:
\

\
? Oh, I saw a fox and a wolf dance together.
\
Dancing in a ring, oh, that?s what I saw.
\
Jig ? a - jag ? a - ling and the donkey was singing.
\
Jig ? a ? jug ? a ? ling and he sang, ?Hee Haw!?
\

\
The fox thought to him self, ? I?m very luck and happy. Why? I live in this world. My world is so wonderful. There are green trees, colorful flowers and fresh air. And look at me! I?ve got a lovely tail and I?m very proud of it. I think everyone has to envy me.?
\
One day, the fox got caught in a hunter?s trap. He tried to get out of the trap. ?Help me! Help me! Is anyone there? Come and get me out! Oh, my tail?my tail!? the fox cried out. Finally, he could free himself, but he had lost his beautiful tail. ?Oh my goodness, my tail is gone! The hunter is such a bad man! I was in trouble and I had to do it. What am I going to tell my friends?? the fox said. The fox was very sad and he was ashamed. He didn?t want to explain to the others why his tail is gone. ?All my friends will ask me why my beautiful tail is gone. They will laugh at me. Um?I?ve got an idea. Ha! Ha! Ha!? laughed the fox. He ran to the other foxes. The other foxes were surprised to see him without his tail.
\
?What is wrong with you? Where is your tail?? asked the fox?s friend.
\
?Why did you have your tail cut?? asked his other friend.
\
?I don?t think it is useful so I cut it off. Look how fast I can move now! I am Superfox! Let?s cut your tails like me. You will be a magic fox too. Ha! Ha! Ha!? said the fox to his friends. Meanwhile, a voice of a fox broke in and said, ?Come on! This morning I saw a fox?s tail in a trap. I think it is yours. You lied to everyone, didn?t you? You are such a liar! Do you think we are foolish? I don?t want to blame you, but you are not a good fox!? Having heard that, the other foxes laughed at tailless fox. He was very ashamed so he ran away. From that time on, the tailless fox separated himself from other foxes and lived a lonely life.

*He who knows others is leaded, he who knows himself is strong, he who knows conquers is strong, he who is reasonable can never be fooled.
