Talk about the different parts of the camera: different lenses, steap, shutter speed, apperture, light meter, trigger, timer, tripod holder, filters, etc.

Care for your camera: don't touch the lense, keep dirt out

Different things you can do with your camera: hold shutter open, increase/decrease depth of field, over/under exposure, etc.

Have the kids draw a picture of what they would like to take a picture of.
