How do kids learn languages so easily and so fast?

One of the questions that is often asked by many is how do children learn languages so easily, so well? In a recent study by Meredith Brinster, part of the answer may lie in the fact that kids generally figure out the words for themselves.

I can’t help but believe that studies like this one, when understood, will be able to one day overturn the flood of public opinion that is parroted in word and action by nearly all of the adult learning community when it comes to language education – that somehow practice and memory work is what’s required to enable the student to use a foreign language.
